The Okanagan’s Hidden Gem

Located just north of hotels in Kelowna near the airport, including the Comfort Suites, Lake Country is a burgeoning wine region known for its unique and beautiful topography. This sparse region is a mixture of residential, agricultural and natural landscape and is set amongst rolling hills, Ponderosa pine forest and sparkling lakes, including the crowning jewel that is Okanagan Lake.

The Scenic Sip

With a long history in fruit production, Lake Country’s eight wineries are located amongst the area’s hills and vales that stretch from Carr’s Landing in the north to the Ellison area just east of Kelowna International Airport. In between are the communities of Oyama, Okanagan Centre and Winfield. Like the communities where they are located, each Lake Country winery has its own unique charm and inspiration from old world European to West Coast modern.
